Pricing

All of our products are listed with their respective prices.  These prices are inclusive of all VAT where applicable, but do not include postage (see below).  Items which are exempt from VAT, which is reflected in the price includes all:

• Books
• Magazines
• Frozen Foods

Please review your purchase prices before completing your checkout to make sure all prices are in order and that all of the quantities are correct.

Delivery

All postage prices are worked out automatically according to the weight of the order.  Please consider the weight of the order when purchasing and check delivery prices before completing the checkout process.

Proof of postage is obtained for every delivery sent and lost parcels will need to be taken up by the recieving party with the service provider in question.  However please see our terms and conditions for further refunds and returns on damaged, missing or wrong goods sent by us.

No orders will be sent out without recieving full payment first, where this is through a payment method such as a cheque, orders will be dispatched when the payment clears.

Live Invertebrate Delivery

The price of all invertebrates includes delivery within the UK to decrease the possibility of making postage type selections at the checkout (please just select standard delivery).  All invertebrates are only available within the UK, if you order outside the UK the money for this product will be refunded to you minus a 5% surcharge to cover our transaction processing and refunding costs where applicable. 

Once an order has been made you will be emailed within 24 hours to arrange a suitable delivery time as these will be sent guaranteed next day delivery the day before your arranged delivery date, via royal mail.  You must ensure that some one is available to sign for these at your address (if no one is available you will forfeit your guaranteed live arrival).

In the event that any invertebrates should arrive DOA we will give a refund if this is reported to us on the day of the delivery.  You will forfeit this guarantee if you do not sign for the item yourself or have it signed for by the person specified with us before delivery, or if you do not contact us on the day of the arrival.  If you feel that an invertebrate which has been sent to you is still alive but in bad condition when it arrives please contact us as we will extend the guarantee period if appropriate to do so.  To get a refund you may be required to send the invertebrate back to us or send us some kind of photographic evidence of the DOA invertebrate.

We reserve the right to put off delivery during adverse weather conditions if we feel that this will either put the invertebrates through unsuitable travelling conditions or if it may affect the delivery time.  For the same reason we will also not send any live products through the post over weekends.

The above section applies to anything sold in the Live Insects section and does not include live food, normal conditions apply for live food products.
