Vermiculite is a perfect incubation media for reptile eggs.  With moistening of the media before use it will fulfill the eggs needs for humidity.  These eggs will then be embedded in the media but not fully covered.  For longer incubation periods it may be necessary to re-moisten the vermiculite.
